Todos a la Mesa plans a family's weekly menu, with the shopping list and each person's allergies. It has no accounts, no advertising and no third-party trackers or analytics. The only thing that goes through a server of ours is the AI import, if you choose to use it, and for that we keep only what is needed to count the imports you have left.

What you enter stays on your iPhone or iPad. The names of the people at the table, their allergies, the family rules, the plan, the shopping list, the recipes and the photos of your dishes are stored on the device, inside the app. They can be deleted from Familia → «Borrar todos los datos de este dispositivo», or by uninstalling the app.

Sharing with your family through iCloud. If you choose «Invitar a la familia» in Familia, that data (except the photos of your dishes) is stored in your iCloud and is seen only by the people you invite, each with their own iCloud. This is an Apple service: we have no access to that data. Sharing can be stopped from the same place.

Importing a recipe from a website. The app downloads that page directly from the website you give, just as a browser would.

Reading a photo or a PDF for free. With «Leer gratis», the text is read on the device itself (Apple's text recognition and, on models that support it, on-device Apple Intelligence). The photo never leaves the phone.

AI import (optional). Only when you tap «Con IA», the photo, PDF or text you choose is sent to our server, which passes it to an artificial intelligence to read the recipe or the school-canteen menu (Gemini, by Google, and, when a second reading is needed, Claude, by Anthropic), and returns the result. We do not keep the photo, the text or the recipe: they are processed and discarded. Google and Anthropic handle that data as service providers under their paid commercial terms and do not use it to train their models. To count the imports you have left, the app creates a random identifier for the installation, not linked to your name, email or Apple account; the server stores that identifier, how many imports you have left and the transaction numbers of pack purchases (so the same purchase is never counted twice). To prevent abuse, a fingerprint of the connection that does not reveal the IP address is also kept, for that day only.

Reminders and widget. If you send the shopping list to Reminders, a list is created in the Reminders app on your iPhone (and, if you use iCloud, on your other devices). The widget reads the menu from the iPhone itself.

Inventing a recipe with AI (optional). Only when you tap «Inventar», our server receives the cuisines you choose, what you write that you have at home and the rules of your table: which allergens and nuts to avoid, how many people eat and their diets, without anyone's name. Claude, by Anthropic, invents the recipe within those rules and returns it. We do not keep the request or the recipe: they are processed and discarded, as with the AI import. It counts as one AI import.

Purchases. The 7-day trial, the unlock and the import packs are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or see any payment data, nor do we know who buys.

Scanning a product. The camera reads the barcode on the iPhone itself; the image is not stored and never leaves the phone. To look the product up, the app asks Open Food Facts (an open database) for the record of that barcode number, as a browser would: only the number is sent, nothing about your family. The «for your table» rating is calculated on your iPhone. Recently scanned products are kept only on that iPhone.

At home, the shared table, Siri and widgets (2.0). What you note you have at home and your special meals are stored like everything else: on your iPhone and, if you share the family, in your iCloud. The allergy card is a file you choose to send: it contains each person's first name, allergies, the nuts they can eat, intolerances and diet; cards you receive from other families are stored like your own data. Siri, widgets and Apple Watch read the menu and the shopping list from the iPhone itself; what you say to Siri is handled by Apple under its terms.

Backups and shared recipes. Backups and recipe files are created by the app only when you ask; you decide where to save them or whom to send them to.
